Thanksgiving Items

Make up your Thanksgiving menu now and start buying the can and dry good items.  If you don't have a lot of space, store items under the bed.  Don't forget to get a few cans for the food drive for the needy. You might also look at your table linens, in case something needs to be replaced.

Adding Items to the Pantry

This is a good time to start adding baking and holiday items to your pantry.  It won't blow your budget if you add a few items to your usual grocery shopping and as we know, retailers will start to raise prices as we get closer to the holidays.

Pantry and Freezer Staples

Here is a list of pantry and freezer items to keep on hand. If you have these items, you are ready to entertain unexpected guests.

Dry/Can Staples:

Chicken stock

Black  kidney and baked beans
