Christmas Punch recipe
Ingredients:
1 quart of vanilla ice cream.
28 oz of Sprite, chilled.
2 cups of pineapple juice.
2 cups of orange juice.
½ cup of lemon juice.
¼ cup of honey.
Preparation Instructions:
Blend the juices and honey; and chill.
Pour the juice mixture and Sprite over small scoops of vanilla ice cream in a punch bowl, then stir until ice cream is almost dissolved.
Tequila Punch
1 quart (4 cups) tequila
4 750-ml. bottles sauterne
1 750-ml. (about 3 1/4 cups) bottle champagne
8 cups fresh fruit cubed
Chill all ingredients well before mixing.
Pour all ingredients but the fruit into a large punch bowl and sweeten to taste with simple syrup.
*Simple syrup: Heat equal parts sugar and water to boiling in a small saucepan. Reduce heat and continue cooking for just a minute or two. Cool.
Makes 40 servings or more.
